A roster that holds up by position

Every serve, pass and swing becomes scores, voice notes and a ranked board, from every court and every evaluator, so when a parent asks why the other setter, you have the answer.

TryoutBrain is tryout software for youth and adult sports clubs. Coaches and evaluators score athletes from their phones by voice, sliders or paper sheets; the app matches every observation to the athlete, ranks the field, helps the staff place athletes on teams, and emails each family their result with the reasons. It is built in Canada and serves clubs in Canada and the United States.

Three courts, six positions, and a setter nobody scored on setting.

Volleyball tryouts are the most position-specific there are, and the hardest to score fairly for it: the libero and the middle are judged on different things by different people on different courts, rotations hide players for whole games, and the club has to post a roster that holds up by position, not just by feel.
